Best of Israel 13 Day Trip with Pilgrim Tours (January 3-15, 2023)
Itinerary:
Day 1:  January 3, 2023
Depart for the Holy land from Winnipeg Airport.
Day 2: January 4, 2023
Arrive into Tel Aviv.  We transfer to the hotel in Netanya. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: January 5, 2023
Visit Caesarea, Megiddo, Mount of Precipice, and Nazareth Village. Afterwards proceed north to Kibbutz Merom Golan for two nights. Dinner, meeting and overnight.
Day 4:  January 6, 2023
Visit Tel Dan, Mt. Bental, Nimrod’s Castle, and take the Golan Heights Jeep Ride.  Return to the hotel. Dinner, meeting, overnight.
Day 5:  January 7, 2023
Visit Bethsaida, Korazim, Capernaum (the evangelical triangle) Tabgha (John 21) Ginosar, and the 2000-year-old Jesus Boat. Next board the Boat from Ginosar to Ein Gev for a cruise on the Sea of Galilee. Dinner, meeting and overnight.
Day 6: January 8, 2023
Proceed down the Jordan Valley to Bet Shean, Qumran (lunch at Qumran), and Ein Gedi. Then to David Dead Sea hotel for 2 nights. Dinner, meeting and overnight.
Day 7: January 9, 2023
Visit Negev Camel ranch, picnic lunch (on own), onto Ein Avdat and the Avdat Nabatean Site (looking for shards). Pay respect to David Ben Gurion at his memorial site overlooking the spectacular Wadi of Avdat. If time allows, visit to the Dead Sea Works factory.
Day 8: January 10, 2023
Morning free for float in the Dead Sea. Visit to Masada (lunch at Masada).  Afternoon visit to Bethlehem and then transfer to Jerusalem. Continue to the Grand Court Hotel in Jerusalem for the next 5 nights. Dinner, meeting, overnight.
Day 9:  January 11, 2023
Walk through to Jewish Quarter, Western Wall, and Rabbinical Tunnels. Free time in the Old City. Dinner, meeting, overnight.
Day 10:  January 12, 2023
Visit the City of David with Hezekiah’s Tunnel and new Pilgrimage road and take part in the Sifting Project at Emek Tzurim. Visit Mount Zion, Upper Room, and Caiaphas House. Dinner, meeting, and overnight.
Day 11:  January 13, 2023
Visit Herodium and Ramot Rachel. Return to the hotel in Jerusalem for dinner, meeting, and overnight.
Day 12:  January 14, 2023
Visit Mt of Olives, walk down the Palm Sunday Path to Gethsemane, cross over to St. Stephens Gate up to the Via Dolorosa, St. Anne’s Church, Pool of Bethesda, Ecco Homo, and Garden Tomb. Dinner, meeting, and overnight.
Day 13:  January 15, 2023
Flight home from Tel Aviv to Winnipeg airport.
