Programs At Our Church

Bible Study Groups: Christian men and women need more than knowledge - they need Christian understanding, Christian attitudes, and the skills for Christian living. We encourage the study of God’s Word for growth in our own Christian understanding. Experience has proven that the Christian Bible study group is the most effective ways for helping us to “grow up into Christ in all things” (Ephesians 4:15 ).

Adult Inquiry Class: Instruction on Lutheran doctrine for those desiring to become members or for members who wish to have a refresher course. These classes are held weekly in the church often in January to March and September to November.

Children's Sunday School:

Upbeat music, exciting Bible stories, creative crafts and so much more can be found at the Children's Sunday School, Sunday mornings from 9:25 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.All children ages 3 to 11 are invited to learn about our loving Lord and Savior Jesus! Children also participate in mission projects, special theme days, family events and a Christmas program. An enthusiastic group of teachers share their love of God with their students, helping the children grow in their faith.

Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study:

While the children are in Sunday School, Adults meet in the church basement each Sunday for regular Bible Study. This is an excellent opportunity to grow in your knowledge of God, by studying His Word with Pastor Brad. We all learn from the lively comments, interesting questions and good round table discussions as we explore God’s Word together. Everyone is welcome.

Mom's Group: Feeling stressed? Need to talk with other moms? Then this is the place for you! Every second Tuesday morning, this group gets together at 9:30 am in the church basement. Bring your kids to the supervised nursery as you relax and talk with other moms and guest hosts. Please contact Sheri S. for more information.

Men's Group: This is our newest group to form at our church. So far we have met for chicken wings, a golf tournament, and had a BBQ. As the sign says -no women allowed. No, really. Contact Bill M. for the next scheduled outing.

Lutheran Women's Missionary League(LWML): The LWML’s objectives are to: maintain a greater mission consciousness; encourage spiritual growth; and to equip women to reach out to others in love and provide opportunities for helping. They spearhead local mission projects and gather funds for district and international projects. They meet once a month for Bible study, planning, devotionals and fellowship. All women are invited to attend.

Senior's Ministry: All those over age 55 are welcome to join our growing senior’s group. They meet every Thursday and participate in Bible study, lunches, service projects, information sessions, outings and fellowship. The first Thursday of the month is a potluck lunch and birthday celebration.

Youth Group: Fellowship, fun and Bible study aimed at equipping our teens to handle the pressures of everyday life. Our active youth group meets on a regular basis for fellowship events emphasizing service to the community and learning about Jesus in a safe and comfortable environment. The youth participate in at least two retreats per year - one which we host.

Midweek AM Bible Study: (currently inactive) During the months from September through till May members meet for the regular study of God’s Word. A book of the Bible may be studied or a current issue may be discussed in light of God’s Word. Whatever the case, this is an excellent opportunity to grow in your knowledge of God. This study takes place in a member’s home. Come out to enjoy the fellowship, study and delicious baking!

Life Light Bible Study Series: An intensive study of one particular book of the Bible. Three separate groups of about twelve participants meet for 9 weeks during the month’s of January, February and March. It is held in member’s homes. An excellent opportunity to meet some of the members of Peace.
